me and my partner we're looking for local italian place. so we decided to come here. the service was amazing and the food was to die for. its a small place but thats what gives it charm. also the management was super nice and gave us a complementary dessert. Astonishing food, service and setting! El Tanque Trattoria is a find! We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered and seated at a cozy table with a window view. This sweetly decorated, intimate, unassuming spot, exudes tons of charm and serves up perfectly prepared food. I ordered a pizza, which was delicious, and paired perfectly with a skillfully prepared, Dirty Martini. Mr. Wonderful had a hamburger with hot, crisp fries and a draft beer. We also shared a house salad with two delectable dressings. Note: Check out the books on the ceiling and the secret bookcase door to the restroom = charming! El Tanque Trattoria has a place in our hearts and a spot on our "favorites place" list, for when we return.
Found this jewel of restaurant on a Saturday night. Hostess and waitress seated us right away and took our drink orders. Ordered a pizza, Mexican hamburger and side mixed green salad. Food was delicious and served quickly. The restaurant was pleasant and not too busy at the time we were there on a Saturday night. Will return when back in the Inwood neighborhood.
I went here for my birthday with my family. The food so good. The service needs some tweaking because I'm a vegetarian and my cousin a vegan. They didn't know what that was and kept offering us meats and other things like that. The ambiance is so cute and so a great place for those who love to take pictures for Instagram so ambiance is picture perfect.
I loved everything about our visit to El Tanque Trattoria Bar. From their food, the drinks and their amazing service, thank you to our host Adonis for that. I had their famous Spaghetti Carbonara and my husband had the Penne A La Vodka, both dishes were incredible. We both had "La Boheme" cocktail and let me tell you, it was superb . We also tried their Creme Brulee and it was perfect with just the right amount of sweetness to it. I will definitely return to try their Dominican Power Pizza that looks so delicious. I 100% recommend this restaurant.
I recently dined at "El Tanque", with a group of friends and the experience exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was inviting and the atmosphere was very intimate. The service was impeccable and not once we had to get our server's attention because he was always paying attention to our table and offering recommendations. I must say that my favorite part was the food. The presentation of the dishes were a truly feast for the eyes and portions were generous. Ps. Do not forget to try the "Spaghetti Carbonara" it was my favorite dish hands down!!!
I went on a Sunday evening. Everything was perfect. From drinks to ambiance. I had the meatballs for appetizer so good. I also had the pasta delicious. Definitely would recommend to try their Dominican pizza . Also for a drink try MADAME BUTTERfly . The the service amazing. Definitely will be coming back
My daughter never ate so much like she did here at El Tanque. The best fresh pizza ever ! Excellent food, amazing customer service and a very clean atmosphere. Will recommend it 100%! And the drinks are INCREDIBLE DELICIOUS!!!!!
